A 12-year-old student was hospitalized after a car struck him while he was walking to John T. Baker Middle School in Damascus.

The crash occurred early Thursday morning and Montgomery County police responded. (WTOP)

Takoma Park man charged in fatal shooting

A 36-year-old Takoma Park resident was charged in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in March.
