Man arrested in Silver Spring after stealing state highway truck, leading to high-speed chase
State police arrested a Laurel man on Friday night in Silver Spring after he stole a state highway truck following a hit-and-run crash on the Beltway and led officers on a high-speed chase.
Two officers—a state trooper and a Montgomery County police officer–and one driver were injured after Flavio Cesar Lanuza, 27, struck more than a dozen vehicles during the chase through Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, according to state police. Lanuza was arrested in the 10700 block of Columbia Pike after the highway truck became disabled. [WTOP]
Silver Spring man on house arrest after alleged indecent exposure in Chevy Chase park
Silver Spring resident Steven Eisen, 76, was ordered to remain on house arrest after he was arrested last week for allegedly masturbating Jan. 26 while sitting on a park bench in Chevy Chase’s Elm Street Urban Park. Eisen has a criminal history dating back to 1989 and has been arrested multiple times for indecent exposure, according to prosecutors and charging documents. [FOX5]
