Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help to find a man they think shot and killed a man last month in Silver Spring.
Tremayne Middleton Dorsey, 43, is accused of killing James Richard Beverly, 39, on Nov. 30, police said in a press release Tuesday.
Dorsey allegedly forced his way into a home in the 12300 block of Treetop Drive, where he shot and killed Beverly, police said.
Police issued an arrest warrant charging Dorsey with first-degree murder.
Police said Dorsey is a Black man, 6 feet tall, weighing 285 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. They asked anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
