Five days after a man was fatally shot in the Lakeforest Mall parking lot in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County police have not made any arrests and aren’t releasing any additional details.

Terrance Donte Dimes, 29, of Gaithersburg was shot and killed around 5:30 p.m. on Russell Avenue last Wednesday, police said previously. Fire & Rescue crews tried to save his life, but he died at the scene.

Police said last week that they’re investigating the killing as a homicide, but haven’t released any additional details.

As of Monday afternoon, no arrests had been made in the case, police spokeswoman Shiera Goff wrote in an email to Bethesda Beat.
