Vie de France, a French bakery at 39 Maryland Ave. in Rockville, is closing this month after 10 years.
A manager at the bakery who declined to give his name told Bethesda Beat on Thursday that the business has been struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic and couldn’t afford to renew the lease, which is up at the end of the month.
Vie de France’s last day of business will be Oct. 23, he said.
Vie de France has two other Montgomery County locations — in Potomac and White Flint. Those locations will remain open.
The Moco Show previously reported on Wednesday about Vie de France’s impending closing.
