Montgomery County police said they are investigating a robbery Wednesday morning at a pharmacy on Rockville Pike.

Just before 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, a male jumped over the counter at a pharmacy in the 700 block of Rockville Pike, police said in a press release. He forced an employee out of the way and demanded they give him drugs. The robber then filled a white trash bag with drugs before fleeing.

Police said the robber was wearing an orange mask, red-hooded sweatshirt with white lettering, tan pants and black boots.

Police released two photos of the robber Wednesday and are asking anyone with information to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
