Bethesda-based real estate finance company Walker & Dunlop will acquire Alliant Capital Ltd., one of the nation’s largest developers and financers of affordable housing projects, in a deal valued at $696 million. [WTOP]

Montgomery County Public Libraries to expand hours

Montgomery County Public Libraries will expand hours back to pre-pandemic levels effective Sept. 12.

The operational hours for all branches, excluding Maggie Nightingale (Poolesville) and Noyes Library for Young Children, will be:
