The Bethesda restaurant Himalayan Heritage at 4925 Bethesda Ave. will soon rebrand as Moh Moh Licious — a Nepalese restaurant specializing in dumplings.
This will be the second Moh Moh Licious in the area. The other is in Washington, D.C.
Sujil Dangol, who owns both Moh Moh Licious and Himalayan Heritage, told Bethesda Beat on Monday that customers at the D.C. establishment have wanted to see it expand to various places in the region, including Bethesda.
Dangol said he likes the spot on Bethesda Avenue is and thinks the new concept will do well.
“I’m not changing anything inside. I’m just changing the menu and the sign,” he said.
Moh Moh Licious’s name comes from the word “Momo,” which is a Nepalese dumpling, Dangol explained. The restaurant’s menu features chicken, pork, beef and vegetable varieties, according to the menu. Six dumplings costs $5.99 and 10 costs $9.99.
Moh Moh Licious’s menu also features other fare, such as wraps, chow mein, and biryani (rice) entrees. Most items are between $8 and $15.
Dangol said Moh Moh Licious will have a fast-casual setup, similar to the D.C. location. He expects the rebranding to be complete in a couple of weeks, he said.
