Prix fixe menus offered for ‘Savor Bethesda’ Restaurant Week

More than 25 restaurants in downtown Bethesda are offering prix fixe menus between July 8 and 18.

The promotion is part of Bethesda Urban Partnership’s “Savor Bethesda” Restaurant Week. Restaurants are offering lunch, dinner and dessert menus for $10, $20 and $35 for dining in and takeout.

Starbucks expanding in Bethesda

Another Starbucks is coming to downtown Bethesda.

The coffee chain is adding a shop at 7200 Wisconsin Ave., according to the Bethesda Urban Partnership’s website. The establishment is listed by the organization as “coming soon.”

On Wednesday, Robert Dyer posted photos on his blog of new signage that had been installed on the building, and furniture that had been moved into the space.

Starbucks currently lists six establishments in downtown Bethesda, some of which are in grocery stores. The chain closed its shop at 4520 East West Highway last year.

Fruit tea and smoothie shop coming to Rockville

Mr. Wish, a chain of fruit tea and smoothie establishments founded in Taiwan 15 years ago, is adding its first Montgomery County location in Rockville’s Congressional Plaza, the chain posted on its social media pages.

The store will be at 1615 Rockville Pike, according to the business’s posting. It is scheduled to open later this month.

Mr. Wish specializes in iced teas with fruit flavor such as grapefruit green tea and kumquat green tea. There are also teas that contain bits of diced fruits such as mango, apple and peach

Teas are $4 to $6 depending on the size. Customers can also order them hot.

Mr. Wish also offers nine types of smoothies for $4.75 each, according to the menu.

The Moco Show reported Mr. Wish’s impending Rockville arrival on Wednesday.
