Crossroads Community Food Network (crossroadscommunityfoodnetwork.org) increases access to fresh, local, healthy food in the Takoma/Langley Crossroads community through programs that empower residents to improve health, build wealth and be active participants in the local food system. Programs include an innovative SNAP matching program at Crossroads Farmers Market, which serves 2,000 people annually, as well as community-based healthy eating education, microenterprise training for low-income food entrepreneurs, and a Community Kitchen geared toward helping them succeed.
