Montgomery County police have charged a former mental health worker at Adventist HealthCare Behavioral Health in Rockville with sexually assaulting two patients in the last two years.

Macdoff Oghenejabo Okah, 48, of Silver Spring, is accused of sexually assaulting female patients on Feb. 6, 2018, and June 5, 2019, police said Thursday in a press release.

The patient who Okah allegedly assaulted June 5 told police the next day that a male employee had sexually assaulted her, according to police.

On June 20, the patient who Okah allegedly assaulted in 2018 told police that an employee had “inappropriate and unwanted sexual contact” with her.

Okah’s employment at the health clinic was terminated June 7, police said.

After investigating, police said they issued a warrant for Okah’s arrest. He was arrested Wednesday, according to the press release.

Okah is charged with second-degree rape, second-degree assault and third-degree sex offense, according to state court records. He is due to appear in district court Jan. 3. Attorney information was not listed Thursday evening.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 240-773-5400.
