Garden of Lights — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — Wheaton

Brookside Gardens in Wheaton hosts its annual Garden of Lights display, which features colored lights in the shape of flowers, animals and other elements. There will be model trains in the conservatory and hot cocoa in the visitor center.

Benefit art show — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — Bethesda

Local artists are holding an art show in downtown Bethesda to benefit the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. A portion of each sale will go toward the vulnerable population the organization serves.

The sale will be at 4715 Cordell Ave. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Breakfast with Santa

Dave and Buster’s in Gaithersburg hosts a breakfast buffet with Santa on Saturday morning. Children can enjoy crafts, write letters and take home a goody cup.

The event runs from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Adults tickets to the breakfast are $15.74. Kids tickets are $28.45, which includes the breakfast buffet and games in the arcade.

December to Remember — Sunday — Rockville

DCWaleDesi, an organization for South Asians throughout the Washington, D.C., region, is celebrating its one-year anniversary with a celebration at the Atrium by Silk restaurant and banquet hall on Sunday in Rockville. There will be awards, performances, food and a fashion show.
