Bethesda

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles between Aug. 4 and 8. Thefts occurred on Manning, Fort Sumner, Springfield and Cromwell drives; Elm Street; Ridgefield Road; and Western Avenue. No forced entry was reported.

Money was taken from multiple vehicles between Aug. 4 and 7. Thefts occurred on Wexford and Brite drives and Custer, Maple Ridge and Lambeth roads. No forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglary

Property was taken from a construction site at 7373 Wisconsin Ave. at 2:32 p.m. July 28. Forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

A vehicle was taken from the 5400 block of Tuckerman Lane between 7 p.m. July 26 and 11:58 a.m. Aug. 4. Entry was not known. The vehicle was recovered Aug. 6.

A vehicle was taken from the 6000 block of Cromwell Drive between 10 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. Aug. 10. Entry was not known.

A vehicle was taken from the 5500 block of Brite Drive between 10 p.m. Aug. 4 and 10 a.m. Aug. 5. No forced entry was reported. The vehicle was reportedly left possibly unlocked with the key inside.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from four vehicles between Aug. 1 and 5. Thefts occurred on Kings Grant Street, Dehaven Court, Forest Ridge Drive and Bedfordshire Avenue. No forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from a vehicle in the 12100 block of Hunters Lane between 2:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 6. No forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

A vehicle was taken from the 16200 block of Frederick Road between 9 p.m. Aug. 2 and 9 p.m. Aug. 5. Entry was not known. The vehicle was recovered Aug. 7.

A vehicle was taken from the 14500 block of Kings Grant Street between 8 p.m. Aug. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4. No forced entry was reported. The vehicle was reportedly left unlocked with the keys inside.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles between Aug. 4 and 10. Thefts occurred on Ripley, Cameron and Bonifant streets; Thayer Avenue; Veterans Plaza; Draper Lane; and Blair Mill Road. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.

Parts were taken from multiple vehicles between Aug. 6 and 9. Thefts occurred on Mount Pisgah and Lions Den roads; Briarcliff Manor Way; Swiss Stone Drive; and Isleswood Terrace. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.

Armed robberies

Two people took money from a girl in the 8400 block of Colesville Road at 9:39 p.m. Aug. 9. One person displayed a weapon.

A person displayed a weapon and took money and property from a woman in the 9200 block of Whitney Street at 10:40 p.m. Aug. 8.

Vehicle thefts

A vehicle was taken from the 9700 block of Mount Pisgah Road between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 4. Entry was not known. The key was reportedly left in the vehicle.

A vehicle was taken from the 12200 block of Tech Road between noon and 2 p.m. Aug. 10. Entry was not known. The vehicle was recovered Aug. 14.
