NSA Bethesda closes bowling alley

Naval Support Activity Bethesda’s bowling alley recently closed.

The 40-year-old bowling center on the military installation shut down August 21 due to apparent funding constraints and a steady decline in customers over the past three years. It needed about $500,000 in repairs to its pinsetters and lanes, according to the installation’s public affairs office. [WAMU]
