Toronto Raptors’ small forward Malcolm Miller brought the NBA’s Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy to Gaithersburg High School on Saturday for a meet-and-greet and silent auction. Miller graduated from the school in 2011. [WTOP]

Lockheed secures major Navy contracts

Bethesda-based defense contractor Lockheed Martin Corp. has secured two Navy contract worth nearly $136 million. The contracts pertain to modernizing the unit’s ship defense and weapons systems. [Washington Business Journal]

Local lawmakers may struggle to determine potential marijuana revenue

Pew Charitable Trusts recently released a report detailing the difficulties state lawmakers have had in predicting tax revenues from marijuana legalization, something Maryland could have to battle depending on the success of legislation during the  2020 General Assembly session. “I don’t want to be too exuberant about the revenue potential,” said Del. David Moon, a Takoma Park Democrat. Moon has spearheaded legalization efforts and sponsored a bill that failed last year. [Baltimore Sun]
