Montgomery County police have released surveillance video of a Silver Spring office building burglary in July and believe the same person committed a similar crime in Bethesda in May.
Someone pried open a door to the Penney Group Design office at 8120 Woodmont Ave. in Bethesda on May 24, stealing two laptops, police said. The person then fled on a bicycle.
Police released video of this incident in early July and now believe they have caught the same person on camera.
Someone pried open a door to Q Lux Spa at 1111 Spring St. in Silver Spring, stealing cash. Police released video of that incident on Tuesday.
The surveillance videos have been combined into a single video, seen below.
Police also released photographs of the burglar. The department encourages anyone with information about the person or the incidents to come forward.
Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
At least eight commercial burglaries have been committed in Bethesda and Silver Spring in the last month, according to police reports.
