Organizers Expect Close to 50 Restaurants for Taste of Bethesda

Performances on five stages also part of October event

Close to 50 restaurants are expected to participate in this year’s Taste of Bethesda in October.

Bethesda Urban Partnership, which organizes the annual event, on Thursday released a list of 40 restaurants that will participate, including some newcomers. More restaurants are expected to join in.

The 30th annual Taste of Bethesda will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5. Besides food booths, there will be musical and cultural performances on five stages, as well as children’s activities, such as arts and crafts.

The event runs along Norfolk, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray and Auburn avenues.

Admission is free. Tickets for food samples are $5 for four. One serving costs one to four tickets.
