Crimes reported to Montgomery County and Rockville police from July 7 through 13

Bethesda

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles between July 2 and 11. Thefts occurred on University Boulevard West; Ambler, Aurora and Woodglen drives; Glenridge, Chandler and Geranium streets; Old Georgetown, Troy and Ruffin roads; Grand Park and Cumberland avenues; Elmore and Wilson lanes, and Bradley Boulevard. Forced entry was reported in one theft.

Property was taken from three vehicles between July 8 and 12. Thefts occurred on Ross and Fernwood roads, and Washington Avenue. No forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

Two vehicles were taken from a residence in the 11000 block of Waycross Way between 11 p.m. July 6 and 6 a.m. July 7. No forced entry was reported. One vehicle was reportedly unlocked and contained the keys to both vehicles.

A vehicle was taken from the 4000 block of Glenridge Street between 12:15 p.m. July 12 and 7:45 a.m. July 13. No forced entry was reported. The vehicle was reportedly left unlocked with the key inside.

Property was taken from a residence in the 5000 block of Macon Road the morning of July 9. No forced entry was reported. A door was reportedly left unlocked.

Property was taken from a residence in the 6900 block of Carmichael Avenue between 5:30 p.m. July 12 and 11:30 a.m. July 13. Forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglaries

Money and property were taken from the Tamjidi Skin Institute at 5454 Wisconsin Ave. between 6 p.m. July 5 and 9:18 a.m. July 8. No forced entry was reported.

Money was taken from the Potomac Swim and Tennis Club at 10531 Oaklyn Drive between 9 p.m. July 3 and 8 a.m. July 4. No forced entry was reported.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from two vehicles between 3 p.m. July 10 and 6 p.m. July 11. One theft occurred in the 5500 block of Dowgate Court and the other in the 5500 block of Randolph Road. No forced entry was reported.

Residential burglary and theft from vehicle

Property was taken from a garage and vehicle at a residence in the 11800 block of Gainsborough Road between 1:30 and 8:08 a.m. July 9. Forced entry was reported on the vehicle.

Residential burglary

Property was taken from a residence in the 1600 block of Auburn Avenue between 12:01 and 8 a.m. July 8. Forced entry was reported.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles between July 6 and 13. Thefts occurred on Cameron and Fleetwood streets; Ellsworth and Galway drives; Georgia, Thayer, Dexter and McKenney avenues; Seminary, Fairland and Elderwood roads, and Fleetwood Terrace. Forced entry was reported in multiple thefts.

Property and parts were taken from two vehicles between July 5 and 7. One theft occurred near Manchester Road and Piney Branch Road and the other in the 500 block of East Indian Spring Drive. Forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

Eight vehicles were taken between July 6 and 12. Thefts occurred on Sligo and Wayne avenues; near Fenton Street and Colesville Road; 13th and Bonifant streets; Quebec Terrace; Mount Pisgah Road and Castle Boulevard. No forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglaries

Money was taken from Spicy America at 11409 Lockwood Drive the morning of July 7. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from the National Association of School Nurses at 1100 Wayne Ave. between 6:30 p.m. July 8 and 8 a.m. July 9. No forced entry was reported.
