A Glen Echo man who became stuck in the mud along the banks of the Potomac River Sunday was rescued after his dogs approached the C&O Canal tow path, catching the attention of two cyclists. One cyclist called 911 while the other stayed with the man. He was eventually rescued by emergency personnel and had no injuries [WTOP].
