Thefts from vehicles

Property was taken from four vehicles on Middleton Lane, Woodmont and Sorrel avenues, and Logan Drive. No forced entry was reported.

Money and property were taken from two vehicles at 10:11 p.m. June 16. One theft occurred in the unit block of Rosemont Court and the other in the 6500 block of Rock Spring Drive. No forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglaries

Property was taken from Sweat Shop Fitness Club at 10410 Montgomery Ave. the morning of June 22. Forced entry was reported.

Money was taken from Chico’s at 4611 Sangamore Road the morning of June 21. Forced entry was reported.

Residential burglary

Property was taken from a residence in the 4500 block of Avondale Street between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. June 19. No forced entry was reported, windows were reportedly left unlocked.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from four vehicles on Veirs Mill Road, Huntsman Way and Gainsborough Road. No forced entry was reported.

Money was taken from two vehicles on Spates Hill Road between 8:30 p.m. June 18 and 6:50 a.m. June 19. No forced entry was reported.

Motorcycle theft

A motorcycle was taken from a parking lot in the 200 block of East Argyle Street between 4:30 p.m. June 17 and 1:55 p.m. June 18.

Burglary

Police arrested three suspects for a burglary at Darnestown Elementary School at 15030 Turkey Foot Road at 6:30 p.m. June 22. No forced entry was reported.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles. Thefts occurred on Childs and Westview courts; Pinedale, Hedin, Osborn and Oakview drives; Avenel Road; Lorain and Pinewood avenues; and Montgomery Street. No forced entry was reported.

Money, property and parts were taken from multiple vehicles. Thefts occurred on Castle Boulevard; Outlet and Avonshire drives; Fenton, 13th and Cameron streets; and Wayne, Georgia and Sligo avenues. Forced entry was reported in multiple cases.

Vehicle thefts

Seven vehicles were taken on Wayne and Georgia avenues, West Nolcrest Drive, Tiffany Road, Castle Boulevard and Colgate Way.

Commercial burglaries

Police arrested a suspect for a burglary that occurred at the Seventh Day Adventist Church at 7918 Georgia Ave. at 8:30 a.m. June 18. Forced entry was reported.

Merchandise was taken from the 7-Eleven convenience store at 8455 Colesville Road at 10:23 p.m. June 22. Police arrested the suspect. No forced entry was reported.

Strong-arm robbery

Six suspects assaulted an adult male and took his property in the 7900 block of Georgia Avenue the morning of June 22.
