County government using robot employees

The county’s Department of Finance purchased three licenses from robotic process automation company UiPath a year and a half ago. The robots have learned four commands so far, resulting in significant work time saved. For example, the machines have cut an eight-hour payroll system holiday addition to 20 minutes. Car crashes into Wheaton firehouse

A two-vehicle incident near Georgia Avenue and Arcola Avenue Tuesday morning resulted in one car collided with a column of the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad. No one was injured. [Fox 5]

Video captures near pedestrian collisions in Silver Spring

Fox 5 obtained a clip of the incident at Georgia Avenue and Forest Glen Road on Friday when a van drove on the sidewalk near a bus stop during a police chase. The van struck a Tesla X just before University Boulevard East, and the suspect was apprehended after fleeing the vehicle.  [Fox 5]
