Two accused in Rockville gun shop burglary charged in Howard County heist

Two suspects charged with crashing a car into a Rockville gun shop and stealing firearms before fleeing the scene were charged for a similar incident in Laurel. One suspect in the Rockville case remains at large. Another was killed after a police officer shot at the suspects’ vehicle. [CBS Baltimore]

Blair student to compete on ‘Jeopardy!’

Montgomery Blair High School student Sophia Weng will compete in the “Jeopardy!” Teen Tournament on Wednesday, where she could win up to $100,000. Weng is a 16-year-old from Chevy Chase. [MCM]

Seven injured in Rockville Pike crash

Seven people were injured, four seriously, after a crash on Rockville Pike Monday morning, according to authorities. Authorities say a landscaping truck and trailer and several other vehicles crashed just after 9:15 a.m. near Strathmore Avenue. [WTOP]
