Bethesda

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from a vehicle n the 4500 block of Chestnut Street between 2 p.m. May 28 and 8:30 a.m. May 29. No forced entry was reported.

Parts were taken from two vehicles between May 24 and 28. Thefts occurred on Parklawn Drive and Kings Ridge Way. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from a vehicle in the 9500 block of Seven Locks Road between 11:05 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. June 1. Forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglary

Property was taken from a storage unit at Extra Space Storage at 4950 Nicholson Court between 3 p.m. May 29 and 6:32 a.m. May 30. Forced entry was reported.

A motorcycle was taken from the 5400 block of McGrath Boulevard the morning of June 1.

Strong-arm robbery

A suspect assaulted two adult males and took their money and property in the unit block of Wisconsin Circle at 8:11 a.m. June 1. Police arrested the suspect.

Residential burglaries

Property was taken from a residence in the 10300 block of Fleming Avenue between 6 and 8 p.m. My 28. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from a residence in the 10200 block of Gainsborough Road the morning of May 29. Forced entry was reported.

 

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from four vehicles between May 24 and 27. The thefts occurred on Montrose Road and Beallsville Road. Forced entry was reported in one event.

Vehicle theft

A vehicle was taken from the 15900 block of Indianola Drive between 4 p.m. May 28 and 5 p.m. May 29. Entry was not known, though a spare key was reportedly left in the vehicle.

Residential burglary and vehicle theft

Money and property were taken from a garage and vehicle at a residence in the 13500 block of Cavanaugh Drive the morning of May 29. No forced entry was reported, the garage door was reportedly left open and the vehicle unlocked.

 

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Ellsworth Drive, Thayer Place, Ripley and Fenton streets, and Cherry Hill Road. Forced entry was reported in three thefts.

Parts were taken from four vehicles between 3 p.m. May 29 and 7:30 p.m. May 30. Thefts occurred on Glenville Road, Whitaker Terrace and Forston Street. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from three vehicles between May 26 and 28. Thefts occurred on Greenbrier Drive and Ottawa and Mayfair places. No forced entry was reported.

Vehicle thefts

Seven vehicles were taken during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Blair Mill Drive, 13th and 16th streets, Wayne and Georgia avenues, Blossom Lane and Dameron Drive. No forced entry was reported.

Attempted armed robbery

Nine juvenile suspects assaulted two adult females and attempted to take their property in the area of Dixon Avenue and Wayne Avenue at 10:03 p.m. May 27. Police arrested the suspects.

Strong-arm robbery

Three suspects took property from an adult male in the 8100 block of Georgia Avenue at 10 p.m. May 29.
