Legal help offered to county residents hoping to expunge records

A Clean Slate Clinic, hosted by Montgomery County Council member Tom Hucker, will be held in Silver Spring to help people with criminal records have their records expunged. People who have been charged crimes such as littering, possessing drug paraphernalia or disturbing the peace can be eligible to have their criminal records expunged under a Maryland law passed in 2016.
