Bethesda

Thefts from vehicles

Property was taken from two vehicles between April 30 and May 1. One theft occurred in the 8600 block of 16th Street and the other in the 7900 block of Chelton Road. Forced entry was reported in the 16th Street theft.

Money and property were taken from a vehicle near Goldsboro Road and MacArthur Boulevard at 5:02 p.m. May 3. No forced entry was reported.

Commercial burglaries

Property was taken from 1Axium LLC at 10410 Kensington Parkway between 5 p.m. April 29 and 8:30 a.m. April 30. No forced entry was reported.

Merchandise was taken from the Verizon kiosk inside Westfield Montgomery Mall at 7101 Democracy Blvd. the morning of May 3. No forced entry was reported.

Money and merchandise were taken from the CVS Pharmacy at 3715 University Blvd. in Kensington the morning of April 30. One suspect displayed a weapon.

Rockville

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from three vehicles between April 28 and May 1. Two thefts occurred on Falls Road and one in the 8900 block of Cherbourg Drive. Forced entry was reported in one event.

Several power tools were taken from a vehicle in the 400 block of McLane Court between 9 p.m. April 28 and 10 a.m. April 29. No forced entry was reported, the vehicle was reportedly unlocked.

Commercial burglaries

Property was taken from Adcom Import and Export at 1776 E. Jefferson St. at 6:24 p.m. May 4. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from Mexican Grill at 19710 Fisher Ave. the morning of April 28. Forced entry was reported. Police arrested two suspects.

Residential burglaries

House keys were taken from a residence in the 7700 block of Ironforge Court at 7:03 p.m. April 28. Forced entry was reported. The suspect then returned at 11:09 a.m. April 29 and used the keys to enter the residence and take property. Police arrested the suspect.

Property was taken from a garage in the 16100 block of Deer Lake Road the morning of May 2. No forced entry was reported, the garage door was reportedly left open.

Property was taken from a residence in the 16500 block of Grande Vista Drive between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. May 3. No forced entry was reported, a door was reportedly left unlocked.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Thayer, Wayne, Georgia, Dexter and Glen avenues, East West Highway, Blair Mill and Colesville roads, Cameron Street, Fidler and Noyes lanes, Gwyndale Drive, Sligo Creek Parkway, Lansdowne Way, and Kimball, Hollow Glen and Hale places. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.

Armed robbery

Three suspects took property from a juvenile male in the 9900 block of Lorain Avenue at 6:35 p.m. May 1. Two suspects displayed weapons. Police arrested two suspects.

Residential burglaries

Property was taken from a residence in the 8600 block of Bradford Road between 5:30 a.m. and 4:29 p.m. May 30. Forced entry was reported.

Money and property were taken from a garage and two vehicles at a residence in the 12800 block of Theresa Drive between 6 p.m. April 25 and 9 a.m. April 26. No forced entry was reported, the garage door was reportedly left open.

Property was taken from a residence in the 1000 block of Broadmore Circle between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 30. Forced entry was reported.

Money and property were taken from a garage and two vehicles at a residence in the 2700 block of Gracefield Road the morning of May 3. Forced entry was reported.
