Bethesda Fine Arts Festival – Saturday and Sunday – Woodmont Triangle, Bethesda
The 16th annual Bethesda Fine Arts Festival will feature more than 100 artists selling works including paintings, drawings, photography, furniture, jewelry, woodwork and ceramics. There will be live entertainment, activities for children and food from area restaurants. Free. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Presented by Bethesda Urban Partnership.
Theo Croker – Friday – BlackRock Center for the Arts
Musician and composer Theo Croker plays traditional jazz with performances infused with hip-hop, blues, salsa and fusion rock. Croker is the grandson of the trumpeter Doc Cheatham. 8 p.m. Tickets $25-$45. 2901 Town Commons Drive, Germantown.
