Montgomery County police say a man died after what they described as a dispute in the parking lot of a Silver Spring shopping center late Wednesday night.

Police identified him Thursday afternoon as Edras Armando Munoz, 30. They could not confirm his address.

Officers were dispatched to the center at 8528 Piney Branch Road, between Flower Avenue and University Boulevard-East, at 10:55 p.m. and found an adult male with “apparent trauma to his body.”

Munoz died from his injuries at a hospital, police said.

There have been four homicides this year in Montgomery County. In addition, the body of a Prince George’s County man was discovered at a Bethesda bus stop last winter and police believe he was killed in College Park.
