Renters at apartment complex where explosion occurred say management is ignoring reports of gas odors
Three years after an explosion leveled a building of a Silver Spring apartment complex, remaining residents say they have recently begun smelling gas again and that management is ignoring their concerns.
Earlier this year, National Transportation Safety Board officials said a mercury service regulator that was not connected to its vent line was the source of a gas leak that led to the deadly explosion and fire in 2016. [FOX 5]
Raskin suggests arresting attorney general for refusing to release full Mueller report
U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin has suggested having the country’s attorney general arrested after the House Judiciary Committee passed a resolution finding the official in contempt of court for his refusal to give Congress the full, unredacted Muller report.

Fallen officers honored at 24-hour vigil
Montgomery County leaders honored local police officers who have died in the line of duty with a 24-hour vigil and a memorial service this week.
About 20 candles lit up the memorial area at the county’s public safety headquarters to remember and honor the fallen officers. [WDVM]
