Chef Edward Lee will be hosting a four-course dinner inspired by his cookbook, “Buttermilk Graffiti,” at the Bethesda Row restaurant on May 9.

With the help of Terrain Café Chef Kevin Ettenson, Lee will create selections from his 2019 James Beard Award-winning cookbook, including mango fries, chicken with coconut rice and green tea beignets.

“I love the aesthetics of Terrain, it immediately takes your mind to place that is both comforting and innovative,” Lee said in a statement. “I try to do the same with my food so I’m really excited to visit the location that’s right in my own backyard. This collaboration will allow me to share the stories and recipes from my new book with the Bethesda community.”

Lee has a residence in Washington, D.C., and is the culinary director of Succotash at the National Harbor and Penn Quarter in the District.
