Thefts from vehicles

Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Wisconsin, Washington and Stillwater avenues, Oak, Meadow and Sugarbush lanes, Rosemary Hills Drive, East West Highway, Trade and Nebel streets, King Charles and Wickshire ways and Nicholson Court. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.

Commercial burglaries

Money was taken from Thelo Greek Grill at 8009 Norfolk Ave. between 4 p.m. April 14 and 8:09 a.m. April 15. No forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from National Institutes of Health at 6707 Democracy Blvd. between 6 p.m. April 17 and 7:45 a.m. April 18. No forced entry was reported.

Residential garage burglary

Property was taken from a garage and a vehicle at a residence in the 4500
block of Highland Avenue between 8:12 a.m. April 12 and 10:30 p.m. April 13. No forced entry was reported, the garage door and the vehicle were reportedly left unlocked.

Thefts from vehicles

Money was taken from a vehicle in the 10800 block of Pebble Brook Lane between 8:30 p.m. April 15 and 6 a.m. April 16. No forced entry was reported.

Parts were taken from a vehicle in the 17400 block of Hoskinson Road between 1:15 a.m. April 15 and 7:30 a.m. April 18. Forced entry was reported.

Vehicle theft

A vehicle was taken from the 14900 block of Old Dover Road between 4:02 p.m. March 22 and 8 a.m. April 18. Entry was not known.

Silver Spring

Thefts from vehicles

Parts and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Blair Road, Cameron Street, Dixon, Eastern and Wayne avenues, Blair Mill Way and East West Highway. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.

Money and property were taken from two vehicles between 7:30 p.m. April 17 and 7:50 a.m. April 18. One theft occurred in the 9300 block of Wilmer Street and the other in the 2400 block of Homestead Drive. No forced entry was reported.

Strong-arm robbery

A suspect took cash from an adult male in the 8300 block of Colesville Road at 11:09 p.m. April 17.

Aggravated assault

Three suspects assaulted an adult male in the 8400 block of 11th Avenue at 10:17 p.m. April 16.

Residential burglaries

Property was taken from a residence in the 8400 block of Fenton Street between 4:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. April 14. Forced entry was reported.

Property was taken from a shed at a residence in the 2600 block of Loma Street between 4 p.m. April 11 and 6 p.m. April 14. No forced entry was reported, the door was reportedly left unlocked.
