Prosecutors want Silver Spring man, accused of terror plot, to stay in jail
Prosecutors recently submitted additional filings in the case of 49-year-old Coast Guard Lt. Christopher Hasson, who faces drug and gun charges after stockpiling weapons for an alleged attack against politicians and journalists.The pair of silencers in Hasson’s possession “serve one purpose: to murder quietly,” prosecutors said. They added the defendant has admitted to taking drugs multiple times since his arrest in arguing that he should continue to be detained. [WTOP]
State to keep school rating system
