Money and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Taylor, Kent and Woodbine streets, Lancaster, East Bexhill and Hillridge drives, Old Spring and Pollard roads, and Fairmont and Frederick avenues. Forced entry was reported in one case.
Vehicle thefts
A vehicle was taken from the 4700 block of South Chelsea Lane between 10:30 p.m. April 3 and 6:50 a.m. April 4. Method of entry was not known. The vehicle was recovered April 5.
A vehicle was taken from the 10800 block of Pearson Street between 9 p.m. March 31 and 6:30 a.m. April 1. No forced entry was reported, the vehicle was reportedly unlocked with a spare key inside. Police arrested four suspects.
A vehicle was taken from the 8000 block of Coach Street between 7 p.m. March 31 and 7 a.m. April 1. Entry was not known.

Thefts from vehicles
Money and property were taken from a vehicle in the 15200 block of Avery Road between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. April 6. Forced entry was reported.
Property was taken from a vehicle in the 13900 block of Riding Loop Drive the morning of April 6. No forced entry was reported.
A laptop was taken from a vehicle 500 block of Burgundy Drive between 6:30 p.m. March 30 and 9:44 a.m. April 1. No forced entry was reported, the vehicle was reportedly unlocked.
Strong-arm robbery
Three suspects assaulted an adult male and took his money in the 13200 block of Atlantic Avenue at 6 p.m. April 1.
Residential burglaries
Property was taken from a residence in the 15700 block of Seneca Road between 5 p.m. April 1 and 8 a.m. April 2. Forced entry was reported.
Property was taken from a residence in the 19300 block of Darnestown Road between 10 a.m. March 30 and 7:15 a.m. April 1. Forced entry was reported.
Silver Spring
Thefts from vehicles
Property was taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period. Thefts occurred on Bonifant Street, Ramsey, Georgia, Wayne and New Hampshire avenues, Evans Drive, Ottawa Place and Tech Road. Forced entry was reported in multiple events.
Money, property and parts were taken from two vehicles between March 31 and April 3. One theft occurred in the 8600 block of Flower Avenue and the other in the 500 block of Pickwick Village Way. Forced entry was reported in one event.
Vehicle thefts
A vehicle was taken from the 8500 block of Fenton Street between 6:40 p.m. March 30 and 12:30 a.m. March 31. No forced entry was reported, the victim reported losing the keys to the vehicle.
A vehicle was taken from the 900 block of Thayer Avenue at 2:45 p.m. April 3. No forced entry was reported. The vehicle was recovered April 4 and police arrested a suspect.
A vehicle was taken from the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard between 7:31 p.m. April 1 and 7:30 a.m. April 2. Entry was not known. The vehicle was recovered April 2.
Aggravated assault
