Potomac Woman Dies Days After Being Struck in Parking Lot

Five pedestrians have been killed this year in Montgomery County

A Potomac woman who was struck by a vehicle while walking from a Rockville parking lot last week died from her injuries on Wednesday, police announced Thursday.

Huo K Li, 83, was leaving the lot at a business park at 650 Hungerford Drive when she was struck by a 2017 Audi on the afternoon of April 11.

Li, who suffered with serious injuries, was taken to a hospital where she died, police said.

The Derwood woman driving the Audi was not injured.

County police spokesman Capt. Tom Jordan said no charges have been filed against the driver and the investigation is ongoing.

There have been five fatal collisions involving pedestrian this year in Montgomery County.
