A Germantown man was killed early Saturday when his pickup ran off Great Seneca Highway in Rockville and struck a tree at the intersection of Darnestown Road, county police said.
Matthew Dirienzo Klopfer, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 4:16 a.m. crash, police said.
Investigators are looking into the cause. Police said the 2013 Ford F-150 went airborne before it hit the tree.
