Missing woman last seen two days ago in Germantown
Sheila Mulcahy, 52, has been missing since Feb. 27, when Montgomery County police say she was last seen in Germantown. Montgomery delegate speaks out against lawmaker accused of making racial slur
Kathleen Dumais, a Democrat who represents Montgomery County, was one of 137 members of the House of Delegates Thursday who censured Del. Mary Ann Lisanti, a Harford County Democrat, for her use of the N-word. “This is a serious situation and it warrants a serious response from this body,” said Dumais, who was the only lawmaker to speak on the floor [Maryland Matters].
Accused child molester released from jail without needing to pay by Montgomery judge
A Montgomery County judge released Joel Sagastume-Gonzalez, 40, on unsecured bond, on Feb. 12. Sagastume-Gonzalez, according to Montgomery County police, is accused of forcing an eight-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him in 2013 while baby sitting. The girl, who is now 14, recently came forward with the allegation. Sagastume-Gonzalez is scheduled for his next hearing March 8 [Fox 5].
