Sheila Mulcahy, 52, has been missing since Feb. 27, when Montgomery County police say she was last seen in Germantown. Mulcahy is a white woman with blond hair, blue eyes and was wearing workout clothes, investigators say. She drives a 2017 Subaru Outback with the Maryland license plate number 4CX4479 [WJLA]

Montgomery delegate speaks out against lawmaker accused of making racial slur

Kathleen Dumais, a Democrat who represents Montgomery County, was one of 137 members of the House of Delegates Thursday who censured Del. Mary Ann Lisanti, a Harford County Democrat, for her use of the N-word. “This is a serious situation and it warrants a serious response from this body,” said Dumais, who was the only lawmaker to speak on the floor [Maryland Matters].

Accused child molester released from jail without needing to pay by Montgomery judge

A Montgomery County judge released Joel Sagastume-Gonzalez, 40, on unsecured bond, on Feb. 12. Sagastume-Gonzalez, according to Montgomery County police, is accused of forcing an eight-year-old girl to perform oral sex on him in 2013 while baby sitting. The girl, who is now 14, recently came forward with the allegation. Sagastume-Gonzalez is scheduled for his next hearing March 8 [Fox 5].
