Thefts from vehicles
Property was taken from a vehicle in the 12400 block of Park Potomac Avenue between 7 p.m. 9 p.m. Feb. 8. No forced entry was reported.
Cash was taken from a vehicle in the 19600 block of Fisher Avenue between 9:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Feb. 4. No forced entry was reported. Police arrested the suspect.
Strong-arm robbery
A suspect took a female victim’s property near Randolph Road and Putnam Road the morning of Feb. 6.
A suspect assaulted a male victim and took his property in the 15900 block of Somerville Drive at 10:50 p.m. Feb. 3. Police arrested the suspect.
A suspect took a bucket containing cash from a victim soliciting donations for charity near the intersection of Rockville Pike and First Street between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 7.

Thefts from vehicles
Cash and property were taken from multiple vehicles during the reporting period on East West Highway, Cameron and Kennett streets, Fidler Lane, and Silver Spring, Philadelphia and 1st avenues. Forced entry was reported in multiple events. Police arrested two suspects for the theft on Kennett Street.
Cash and property were taken from three vehicles between 5 p.m. Feb. 4 and 8:46 p.m. Feb. 5. Thefts occurred on Elkhart Street and Glenridge and Glen Ross roads. No forced entry was reported.
Theft of construction vehicle
A construction vehicle was taken from the 10800 block of Lockwood Drive between 5 p.m. Feb. 4 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 5. No forced entry was reported. The keys were reportedly left in the vehicle.
Vehicle thefts
A vehicle was taken from the 1500 block of November Circle between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 31 and 2:09 p.m. Feb. 4. Entry was not known.
