Gaithersburg man said he was threatened in racist road rage incident

Police are investigating after a man left his car, opened the door of another vehicle and yelled a racial slur at the driver. The man on the receiving end of the epithet recording the altercation. “People don’t believe you when you say something like this happens,” Crispin Cole said. “And this one, I got tired of it.” [Fox 5]

Driver crashes into Starbucks after spilling tea in lap

The driver hopped the curb and broke a store window at the Derwood location at 8010 Gramercy Blvd. No serious injuries were reported. [ABC 7]

Maryland helps sue Trump over national emergency

The state was one of 16 to jointly file a federal lawsuit against the president to prevent the plan to build a border wall. Maryland was the only state with a Republican governor to participate in the suit. [Washington Post]
