Police investigating Bethesda business robbery

Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect accused of a store burglary at Bethesda’s Wonders at Edgemoor.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect who stole “property” from the business in November before fleeing. [WDVM]

Rockville man charged with burglary, assault in College Park dorm

Josue Daniel Sigaran, 23, of Rockville, has been charged in connection to several robberies and assaults at a University of Maryland, College Park, dorm.

The suspect allegedly entered three rooms without authorization to do so, grabbed a girl’s arm in a hallway and entered an “occupied room where he kept the resident from leaving,” according to police, who say the man has no connections to the school. [FOX 5]

County recognizes teen dating violence awareness month

The Montgomery County Council and county Board of Education this week recognized February as Teen Dating Violence Aware Month, to raise awareness about abusive relationships among juveniles.
