The Annapolis-based company announced the opening of a Bethesda center on Friday.
Righttime has 18 locations in Maryland, including seven in Montgomery County.
The new center is at 4507 Stanford St. just off Wisconsin Avenue. It will have free quadrivalent flu shots while supplies last.
The company was founded in 1989 by a group of pediatricians to provide medical care during evenings and weekends for the children of working parents.
“As we celebrate 30 years of caring for patients throughout Maryland, we encourage our neighbors in Bethesda to stop by and meet us,” Righttime Chief Executive Officer Robert G. Graw Jr. said in a statement.
Rockville group buys White Oak Apartments
The Donaldson Group along with two partners purchased the 592-unit Silver Spring community for approximately $86.75 million.
The partnership plans to invest capital into renovation, including updating the central heating and cooling plant with individual heat pumps in each apartment.
“Montgomery White Oak is a well-located, well-constructed apartment community in a strong rental market,” Donaldson Group CEO Carlton Einsel said in a statement.
Target coming near Silver Spring
A small-format Target department store will open at 7828 Georgia Ave. on April 7, one of two arriving in Washington, D.C.
The stores will have hiring events at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring on Feb. 8-9.
Target expects to hire more than 100 team members across both stores at the events.
Baltimore company wins bid for college building management job
Montgomery College announced last week Barton Malow Co. was approved to manage the construction of the Catherine and Isiah Leggett Math and Science Building at the Silver Spring/Takoma Park campus.
The college posted a request for proposals on Sept. 20, 2018, and within five weeks had received 10 offers. Six were determined to be qualified and those companies were interviewed.
The college’s office of procurement deemed Barton Malow as the most suitable applicant. The company was awarded the project for a bid of $211,550.31.
Construction on the $88,642,000 building is expected to begin in late 2019 or early 2020.
Barton Marlow has worked on several projects at Maryland higher education institutions, including a hybrid operating room at at the University Of Maryland Medical Center, a Health Sciences Facility at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Medical Education Building at Johns Hopkins University.
