Surveillance of suspect in CVS armed robberies released
Police believe the man committed three crimes at pharmacy locations, one in Wheaton and two at the same Silver Spring location. The first two incidents were in late 2018, the most recent was on Sunday. [WUSA9]
Bridge construction to close I-270 lanes
Beginning next week and lasting until March, lanes will be closed in Gaithersburg at nighttime. Crews are installing steel support beams for the Watkins Mill Road interchange. [WTOP]
Silver Spring hospital to open in August
Adventist Healthcare’s White Oak Medical Center will open on Aug. 25. The 180-bed facility will replace the Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, which will become a 24/7 urgent care center. [Biz Journal]
