Thefts from vehicles

Cash and property taken from multiple vehicles during this reporting period. Thefts occurred on East West Highway, Washington Avenue, Grubb and Spencer roads, Raymond, Georgia and Shepard streets, Bradley, Turner and Derby Ridge lanes, and Terrace, Farrell and Blaine drives. Forced entry was reported in multiple thefts.

Vehicle parts taken from a vehicle in the 6400 block of Rock Forest Drive between 11:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 9. Forced entry was reported.

Residential burglaries and thefts from vehicles

Property taken from a garage and a vehicle at a residence in the 6700 block of Brookville Road between 6 p.m. Jan. 5 and 2:15 p.m. Jan. 6. No forced entry was reported, police believe the suspect or suspects used the garage door opener left inside the vehicle to gain access into the garage.

Property taken from a shed and two vehicles at a residence in the 4200 block of Dunnel Lane between 12:30 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Jan. 7. No forced entry reported; the shed and both vehicles were reportedly left unlocked.

Vehicle taken from the 600 block of Monroe Street between 7 a.m. Dec. 27 and noon Jan. 11. Method of entry is unknown.

Thefts from vehicles

Property taken from three vehicles between Jan. 5 and Jan. 10 on Fidler Lane and Georgia and Thayer avenues. Forced entry reported in two thefts.

Cash and property taken from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Hanover Street between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 4 p.m. Jan. 10. No forced entry reported.

Property taken from a vehicle in the 9100 block of Kimes Street between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 7. No forced entry reported.

Armed robberies

Suspects assaulted a male victim and took his property in the 700 block of Sligo Avenue at 7:45 a.m. Jan. 6. One suspect displayed a weapon.

Suspects assaulted a male victim and took his property in the area of East West Highway and East Falkland Lane at 6:08 a.m. Jan. 8. One suspect displayed a weapon.

Strong-arm robbery

A suspect assaulted a female victim and took her cash and property in the 8300 block of Georgia Avenue at 5:56 p.m. Jan. 9.

Property taken from a residence in the 11200 block of Oak Leaf Drive between 3:20 p.m. and 3:32 p.m. Jan. 8. Forced entry reported.

Property taken from a residence in the 11200 block of Lockwood Drive between 10 p.m. Jan. 4 and 11:17 p.m. Jan. 6. No forced entry reported.

Property taken from a residence in the 11500 block of February Circle between midnight and 7 a.m. Jan. 6 and between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 9. Forced entry reported in both events.
