A Rockville woman who didn’t show up for work was found dead in her Aspen Hill house Tuesday morning, county police announced.
Officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services personnel responded to a request to check on the woman at 7:43 a.m.
Responding officers and rescue crews found the woman deceased at her residence in the 13600 block of Marianna Drive.
When asked, police did not say where the woman worked, her profession or age.

Detectives from the major crimes division are in the preliminary stages of their investigation and are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
