Two of County Executive Marc Elrich’s appointees, Diane Vu and Adam Ortiz, will appear before the County Council Tuesday for interviews.

Vu has been acting director of the county’s Office of Community Partnerships since December, and would become the agency’s permanent director if confirmed.

Ortiz was previously the director of Prince George’s County’s Department of the Environment, and would become the director of the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection if confirmed. Elrich has yet to name permanent directors to the departments of Health and Human Services, Housing and Community Affaris and the library system.
