Marylanders look to close loophole in Noah’s Law

Families of people killed by drunken drivers are pushing lawmakers to close a loophole in a law that allows offenders who plead guilty and receive probation to skirt the otherwise-mandated requirement of having an ignition interlock device installed in their car.

The requirement is a result of Noah’s Law, passed in 2016 for a Montgomery County police officer killed by a drunken driver. [WTOP]
