Catch Me If You Can—Friday through Sunday—Arts Barn, Gaithersburg
Arts on the Green, in partnership with Montgomery Playhouse, will put on the Robert Thomas whodunit, which premiered on Broadway in 1965. This play is not associated with the 2002 film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m.; the Sunday show begins at 2 p.m. Adult tickets cost $20.

Leon Fisher’s Birthday Celebration—Saturday night—The Music Center at Strathmore, North Bethesda
Baltimore Symphony Orchestra celebrates the birthday of pianist and conductor Leon Fleisher Saturday at Strathmore. Fleisher will be on piano, with Peter Oundjian conducting. The program includes Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2. The concert begins at 8 p.m.; tickets start at $35.

Fancy Nancy: Splendiferous Christmas—Saturday and Sunday—Adventure Theatre, Glen Echo
It’s closing weekend for Fancy Nancy, a children’s play centered around the holidays. The play follows Nancy’s quest to purchase a new Christmas tree topper. Patrons can catch a showing at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $25.

Cinderella—Saturday and Sunday—Imagination Stage, Bethesda
Imagination Stage’s Cinderella continues through Sunday, Jan. 13. There are four opportunities to see the children’s classic this weekend: Saturday at 1:30 and 4 p.m., and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tickets start at $15.

Elf the Musical—Friday through Sunday—Olney Theatre Center
Olney Theatre’s run of the holiday play based on the 2003 Will Ferrell film ends this weekend. There are four showings this weekend: 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. The Friday performance is almost sold out. Tickets start at $63.
