Montgomery County police on Thursday released security camera photographs of a “person of interest” in their five-day-old investigation of a man inappropriately touching a girl at Rockville Memorial Library last weekend.

Police said in the Dec. 15 incident, a man approached a 5-year-old girl, pulled down her pants and touched her.

The girl screamed and her parents called police.

Surveillance camera images from the Rockville Town Center library showed a man lingering around the children’s section of the library for around 30 minutes before he approached the girl around 6 p.m.
