Cash and property were taken from a vehicle in the 11400 block of Rockville Pike between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Nov. 21. No forced entry reported.
Cash and property were taken from two vehicles between 2:15 p.m. Nov. 20 and 8 a.m. Nov. 21. One theft occurred in the 5200 block of Andover Road, the other in the 4900 block of Rockmere Court. No forced entry reported.

A vehicle was taken from the 5400 block of Duvall Drive between 9 p.m. Nov. 20 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 21. No forced entry was reported. The vehicle was reported to have been unlocked with the keys inside.
Residential burglary
Property and vehicle keys were taken from a residence in the 4900 block of Montgomery Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 23 and 8:12 a.m. Nov. 24. Forced entry reported. The keys were used to steal the vehicle, which was recovered Nov. 24.

Thefts from vehicles
Property and vehicle parts were taken from vehicles on Elmcroft Boulevard, Piccard Drive and Rutgers Street between Nov. 16 and 20. No forced entry reported.
Property was taken from a vehicle in the 13100 block of Piney Meetinghouse Road between 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 and 12:30 p.m. Nov. 19. No forced entry reported.
Property was taken from a vehicle in the 17400 block of Hoskinson Road between 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and 9 a.m. Nov. 19. No forced entry reported.
Residential burglary
Property was taken from a residence in the 13700 block of Valley Drive between 7 a.m. on Nov. 18 and 2:23 p.m. Nov. 24. Forced entry reported.
Assault
A suspect was arrested for second-degree assault after an incident in the 900 block of Gilbert Road on Nov. 25.
Silver Spring
Thefts from vehicles
Property and vehicle parts were taken from multiple vehicles on East West Highway, 16th Street and Eastern Avenue between Nov. 22 and 24. Forced entry reported.
Cash and property were taken from three vehicles on Spring Street, Homestead Drive and Luzerne Avenue between Nov. 18 and 21. Forced entry reported in one incident.
Cash and property were taken from three vehicles between Nov. 17 and 22. One theft occurred in the 10600 block of South Dunmoor Drive, the other two in the 9900 block of Woodburn Road. No forced entry reported.
Property and vehicle parts were taken from two vehicles between Nov. 15 and 21. One theft occurred in the 11800 block of Tech Road and one in the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive. No forced entry reported.
Armed robbery
Cash was taken from a victim at an ATM on the outside of the Bank of America at 8511 Georgia Ave. at 9:28 a.m. Nov. 24. The suspect implied he had a weapon and forced the victim to withdraw money. The victim complied, and the suspect stole the cash. Investigators released surveillance photographs of the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
Strong-arm robbery
Cash and property were taken from two victims, who were also assaulted, in the 8700 block of Flower Avenue at 9:03 p.m. Nov. 22. Two suspects arrested.
Property was taken from a victim in the 11300 block of Columbia Pike at 6:44 a.m. Nov. 21.
Commercial robbery
Cash was taken from a CVS Pharmacy at 10141 Colesville Road at 10:10 p.m. Nov. 18. The suspect displayed a handgun and confronted three clerks. He then stole currency and fled. Police believe the same suspect robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Wheaton Oct. 21.
Residential burglary
Property was taken from a residence in the 13800 block of Castle Boulevard between 1 p.m. Nov. 16 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 21. No forced entry reported.
