Number of low-income workers riding Metro declines outside MoCo
The percentage of low-income workers commuting by public transportation has remained steady in Montgomery County, though it has risen elsewhere. This decrease in ridership is likely the result of increased fares, fewer train service hours and gentrification near rail stations. [Washington Post]
