Active shooter threat at Walter Reed wasn’t reported as a mistake for an hour
Two weeks after errant “active shooter” alerts placed the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda on lockdown, a detailed report of what went wrong is still not available.
But the initial investigation suggests the person who sent the inadvertent alert did not call security to say that alert was sent in error for about an hour, according to an installation spokesman. [Washington Post]

The Maryland General Assembly will participate in sexual harassment prevention training, led by the former chief of staff for first lady Michelle Obama during the first full week of the 2019 legislative session.
