Man arrested for attempted rape in Derwood

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with the attempted rape of a woman who was cleaning an apartment building in Derwood.

Joao Rodrigues, of Gaithersburg, is accused of grabbing the woman as she responded to a maintenance request he made regarding a first-floor bathroom. [Washington Post]
